Objective:

The Program Officer oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of an ongoing program including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities. A successful Program Officer has a broad knowledge of program objectives and priorities. The Program Officer ensures program activities are executed successfully and add the highest possible value to the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish a program timeline including deadlines, milestones and processes
  • Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization
  • Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program
  • Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements
  • Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
  • Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations
  • Liaise with other managers to ensure the effective and efficient program delivery
  • Develop forms and records to document program activities for internal and external uses
  • In consultation with the program director, recruit, interview, and select well-qualified program participants
  • Ensure the program operates within the approved budget
  • Drive innovation within the project
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Program management experience
  • Microsoft programs, database, and spreadsheet experience
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, when necessary to monitor activity programs

The Executive Assistant provides support in the following ways:

  • Manage Executive calendars by scheduling appointments and acting as a “gatekeeper” to ensure all information and appointments are a valuable use of time
  • Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues, projects, and concerns addressed to the Executives and determine the appropriate course of action, referral, or response
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Provide writing and editing support
  • Arrange corporate travel and meetings by developing itineraries and agendas
  • Complete a variety of impromptu administrative tasks

This executive assistant position is a full-time position requiring a consistent 40 hour per week commitment.

Objective:

The Programming Specialist provides programming and logistics support for Strata programs, events, and conferences. The Programming Specialist coordinates details in a timely and professional manner. The Programming Specialist engages professionally with guests and participants. Strong candidates are motivated, driven by problem solving, and committed to continuous growth and improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal customers to establish and meet program objectives and expectations
  • Establish program and event timelines including deadlines, milestones, and processes
  • Coordinate logistics and programming for programs, events, conferences, and high profile visitors
  • Ensure programs and events operate within approved budgets
  • Lead a student associate team of programming associates
  • Establish a team structure that offers training, direction/mentorship, and practical work experience to all team members
  • Provide day to day office support in coordination with the Strata Operations team

Some events will require working on weekends and weeknights. Several conferences will require travelling outside of Logan, Utah.

The Programming Specialist position is a full-time position.
